This experiment was carried out for 42 days to investigate the effect of caponizing and diethylstilbegtrol (DES) on body weight gain, rate of feed conversion, weight of carcass and percentage of dressing in young chickens. The chickens used were 128 male Hamphorn of 30 days old.
In the body weight gain of chickens, control group was higher than the other groups (P<0.01); T, group was the lowest group. Rate of feed conversion of control group was higher than T₂ and T₃ groups.
